Hello all. Ive only tried cooking with marijuana once before, and that was making MJ butter, not oil. Seems i didnt cook the marijuana enough for the cookies ( i only used 1/8, so no biggie) because i could certainly taste the weed in my cookies, just wasn't feeling it. So im thinking of going with Oil this time around. Heres what i got. I got all the canola oil i'll need (i only need 6 - 8 OZs of oil for 1 batch of brownies, which is all im going for at the moment) ive got 6 - 7 grams of budded up mid grade marijuana, as well as about a gram of keif. Ive got a crockpot, and the time needed to cook it. My problem is. One, all the recipes im finding are for large ammounts of marijuana (2 OZ's and up) but they are also for 48 OZs of canola oil, which is an entire bottle. I only need enough for one batch, so would about 7 grams work well for 1 batch/8OZs of oil? Two, most recipes im finding say to cook in a crockpot for 6 - 12 hours. Well which is it? Thats a huge difference, and im curious to know what i need to look for to know if its done in 6 hours, or to keep it in on a full 12? (is there changes in smell/colloration in the liquid so i can tell if its done?). Three, i have a coffee grinder, which grinds marijuana up to a pure powder, is this wise when cooking the way im describing? Or should i keep it as budded up as i can?

I hope to get a reply soon fellas! THANKS SO MUCH!
