Im buyng a pipe today in about 2 hrs. So what kinds are the best? What is a good price? Do you need to buy anything else when you buy a pipe? (i heard something about pipe screens) And fianlly how exactly do you smoke a pipe?

Um... do you know what a pipe is? It seems like you know absolutely nothing. You do know that you have to load the pipe before you can smoke it, right?

Filters are cool, they save alot of weed. Glass ones are the best.
Get a bowl or a bubbler, those are the most portable and a bubbler gives you the cooling and filtering of a bong, all in a little hand held device.
So I would go the bubbler route, but for ease of use, definitely a chillum.

Edit: Oh yeah, and you smoke it by lighting it and sucking through the hole. It's kind of self explanatory. I mean, dude, it's a pipe.

Get a glass pipe, and ask for one that's durable. You don't need all the fancy-dancy swirls in it, you just need it to be functional, especially if it's your first pipe. Once you get used to handling it and, er, not dropping it (everyone does at some point) then you can get something with personality.

id buy an acrylic waterpipe if it was me...theyre cheap and nearly indestructable...get one with the large bubble at the bottom, holds more water and ice for a smoother smoke...would also replace the metal bowl with a wooden one (they have em, less than three bucks) smokes smoother and cooler than metal...good luck and let us know how you make out!
