    Why hasn't it sprouted yet?

I planted a germinated seed on September 17. Is it dead?

Have you pulled some of the medium away to see what the seed looks like?

if it germinated well prior to planting, and planted taproot-down under 1/4" soil, the most common problem is keeping the soil too damp, killing the seed ... if allowed to dry completely out, that also would kill the seed ... dampness is the usual worst culprit ... :smokin:

Oh I forgot to add that before I germinated this seeds, I had one germinated seed that I planted and that came out of the soil for about a month, but it still had the seed stuck on it, eventually I gave up on it.

So the problem is that the seeds are old and they need more time than newer seeds?
