I tend to feel a strong pressure on my face when I'm high. It can be uncomfortable so I would imagine if you already have jaw problems that it could feel worse. This only happens with sativas though. Indicas make me feel relaxed all over. Maybe you could try an indica one day and a sativa the next and note any differences. I hope this helps somehow. Good luck.

It seems like my face is uncomfortable a lot. When I smoke weed, my face hurts worse. It's like my face is super tight or there is a lot of pressure in my face.
