I would think that it would help the tension but maybe I'm wrong. Does anyone know?

You might want to talk to your doctor about this. If you are a minor don't worry--a doctor who is professional will not talk to your parents about your occasional pot smoking. If you're 18 and over, you are perfectly fine--talk with your doctor because he can't release any information to anybody, not even law enforcement, about your pot-smoking expenditures (This is called HIPPA compliance)..

It all has to do with your neurochemistry. To know exactly what is happening someone might have to take your vital signs before you smoke and after you smoke. Because I can't do that, and because I'm not a doctor, I strongly recommend you seek professional medical attention if you feel this is a problem.
