    will these survive?

alright, so i'm attempting to start my first grow, kind of learn as you go style. i have some pics of seedlings that seem to be in pretty rough shape, and i'm wondering if there is any hope for them?

i planted these and just put them in a sunny window, just to see if they would start growing until i got a set-up going. they have obviously stretched a lot. After a few days of sitting on the window sill, I had them under 24" plant/aquarium flouro tubes for about 3-4 days. Then I bought 4 42w CFL bulbs at 2700 lumens each, which is what they are under right now. I have them in a 2'x2'x2' "tent" with emergency blankets for reflection. The temperature hovers around 80 degrees. I don't have a fan yet. Need to wait until my next paycheck to make any more purchases.

My main concern, other than the stretching, is that they are growing uber-slowly. The tiny little beginnings of the second set of leaves that you can see took about 3 days to grow under 24h CFL light.

Is there anything I can do to bring them back to life? If not, how can I make sure my next ones will do better? I have more seeds germinating right now, and you can see one more pot sitting under the lights, which has a seed in it that just started to germinate last night.

any help would be great! I am reading lots, but I feel rather hopeless right now.

Hey dude. I'm not an expert but I'd say to replant them and bury them another inch or 2 deeper. Get the lights as close as possible with out burning them. Start to germ more seeds in case they dont make it.

sorry.....6500k, as in 6500 lumens? how many watts is that? my CFLs are 42 watts, and they were the biggest sold at both home depot, wal-mart and canadian tire.

i thought flowering needs more light than veg?

how should I repot, into anther peat cup, or into a bigger flower-pot?

Possibly the super wet looking soil you have in that pot. You need to repot those to individual pots into some good soil mixed with perlite. It appears your drainage is not good at all.

Another tip, do what someone else said, bury them an inch or two deeper when transplanting but be careful.

You can still save these babies, its just going to take some work.

you need to get the 6500k its for kelvin and it on the back of the pack of two or they come in packs of 4 there 26w =100 the 6500k has more of the blue spectrum for veg and the 2700k is for flowering which has more of the red spectrum.
