Incidentally, you mentioned Floyd. If you EVER get the cahnce, see Australian Pink Floyd (cover band fro PF of course) - they are- in one word - truly amazing, he, he, he... Well, maybe TWO words.... Even Roger Waters and David Gilmore get into 'em!

So I happened to bump into this kid again, at my friend's house, and I was playing guitar for a few of my friends, we were all singing along, on the couch when he came in. I had been playing a limited set of some Pink Floyd, and he keeps cracking shit like "Floyd is gay they suck" blah blah blah... I understand a lot of metalheads and screamcore kids don't like prog rock, and that's fine. He's entitled to his own opinion. I don't go saying all of his bands suck.

So we get back to playing, he's sitting on the couch, and starts saying my technique sucks, I need to do this and that, and I shouldn't be playing crap on that guitar.

I may not be the best guitarist; I've only been playing for 2 years, but I play well enough for me for learning on my own. I am getting better, but it takes time. I do not brag about my abilities. I just like making music.

This kid is now banned from my friend's apartment.

SERVES HIM FUCKIN' RIGHT.
