Airtight yes, but I think the glass property of a jar aids the curing. I live in the UK, i looked on ebay and was like :wtf: when I found jars at like £10. Then I went to tesco and they are 99p so check your local supermarket for a cookie jar .

stone_sensation Reviewed by stone_sensation on . Is a Pringles can air tight enough to cure in? I was just surfing ebay looking at glass jars to cure in and the prices are crazy. I know some people that I can get some from anyways but as I was looking at the jars online I grabbed a snack and it happened to be Pringles Potato chips. Would the container be air tight enough to cure in? Its gotta be somewhat air tight because they store food. Anyone know? Rating: 5
