Is a Pringles can air tight enough to cure in?

I was just surfing ebay looking at glass jars to cure in and the prices are crazy. I know some people that I can get some from anyways but as I was looking at the jars online I grabbed a snack and it happened to be Pringles Potato chips. Would the container be air tight enough to cure in? Its gotta be somewhat air tight because they store food. Anyone know?

Airtight yes, but I think the glass property of a jar aids the curing. I live in the UK, i looked on ebay and was like :wtf: when I found jars at like £10. Then I went to tesco and they are 99p so check your local supermarket for a cookie jar .

Since you live in the US, hit up Wally World. They sell canning jars for about a buck a pop.

i don't know if a pringles bottle/jar is good enough but i do know that you can get quart jars
for reallly really really really cheap, you buy 6 a box for like +/- $10.00

i used to grow shrooms and those jars are what i used to grow the mycelium

go to wal-mart, if canning is in season they will have it. otherwise fi you ask one of the old women that work there you'll get a stupid look and a stupid answer

    Sup Miley ,
I've tried quite a few dif. things to cure in and nothing beats glass for some reason . Even a 5 gal. paint bucket w/ sweet lid w/ rubber seal was dif. than glass as far as curing properties / flavor for some reason ? Most all major grocery stores or walart , target , meijers have canning jars w/ lids for fairly cheap esp. w/ it being the season for preserving / canning foods right now .
    Peace bro.

Pickle jar. Run through dishwasher twice. Otherwise you get picklebuds. Better than pringlebuds though.

plastic traps smells and allows alot of trichomes to stick to it that you cant recover. glass is way better. we got a 12 pack of jars at the dollar store once for 5$ that is the way to go.
