Do they get the same effect as a gravity after you pull the slider (I think its called that) out? By that I mean all the smoke being rushed into your lungs?

It looks like it hits hard, but it doesnt really look like a gravity. Does the smoke get pushed back into your lungs really fast? Or do you just inhale from that.
