Oh yeah, how many ounces of butane do you use on your runs? I use 12oz and my tube holds maybe 2-3oz. After 12oz the dripping butane is completely clear. I was just wondering if I could get a better yeild if I ran some more butane through.
Hi, i don't think the brand matters much. Mine is very stiff too, but i try to get it as together as i can before the butane has completely gone [ all liquid gone but still residue and bubbles, like pic 1 ]. Any left on the container goes solid when dry so i have to heat it and rub it off with buds as i smoke it. Some use solvents to help collect it.

My tube is 2 ft long and 2 inch wide, and i use 3x200ml tins for 1.5 - 2oz dry dusted weed. 90% of oil will come out with the first 2 tins.
I use only 2x200ml tins for 1oz or less.

If you are running the gas till clear then i'm fairly certain you have maximum yield. Its very efficient
