Oh, Non! Your stories are heartbreaking! Do not lose faith! It really works! I spent most of Monday spaced out of my mind on some Green Dragon I made. Who knows, maybe you have a strange physiological quirk that doesn't allow it to work for you, but I doubt it.

There is probably something going wrong with your technique, or your equipment, or the dosage.

Maybe try this:

1. Decide how much herb to use. How much do you usually smoke to get totally stoned? Use about 3 times that much just to be sure.

2. Don't decarboxylize in the oven because maybe that is where some kind of problem is happening. Maybe somethng is getting too hot. The recipe will use enough heat to convert the THC.

3. Make the double boiler setup described in other posts. Put a saucepan on the stove with a few inches of water in it. Put an empty Pyrex measuring cup in the water. Make sure no water gets in the cup. Bring the water up to a gentle boil. You want to have an empty cup sitting in a bath of boiling water. The water bath will keep things from getting too hot, but should give enough heat to convert THC.

4. Put the herb in the Pyrex cup.

5. Put a teaspoon or more of butter in the Pyrex cup with the herb and let it melt. Make sure all the herb is in contact with the hot melted butter. If there is not enough butter add a little bit more.

6. Keep the water in the saucepan boiling for an hour. That ought to be enough time to do the decarboxylation process and to disolve all the good stuff into the butter. If the water in the saucepan gets low, add another inch of water and bring it back up to a boil. If the stuff inside the cup starts to dry out, add some more butter or some water or some vodka or other liquor that you like drinking.

7. Turn off the heat and remove the Pyrex cup with all the good butter/herb mush in it.

8. Do not fllter or remove anything from the cup. Leave it all in there.

9. Add a teaspoon or more of sugar to the Pyrex cup sweeten it up a bit.

10. Add a shot or two of strong alcoholic liquor (rum, vodka, whiskey, whatever you like) to the Pyrex cup.

11. Add a cup of hot water to the pyrex cup.

12. Stir everything together really good and drink it on down. Don't leave anything in the cup, not any buttery residue, not even the old used up herb peices. Everything goes down the gullet, even if some of it doesn't taste that great. The drink should be sort of like a funky hot buttered rum, but some of the pieces might be a little astringent, so you might want a glass of water handy to help send those down.

13. Wait an hour or two and see if anything happens.

If nothing happens then you are probably immune to ingested THC for some unkown reason. This technique might not make the best tasting beverage, but it should cover all the bases and determine if your system itself is just not able to absorb THC this way. If it works, then you can work on refining some better tasting recipes.

Let us know if you try it and if it works for you.

Good luck!
