banana peels are suposed to be good rose fertilizer? but the gasses from ripening fruit are suposed to create females in seeds. no studies here so dont count on that being a fact(i cant even remember the name of the gas)

So using my outstanding intellect I figured since plant's sex is determined in the 3-4 week of life, putting banana peels next to the plants then will produce females. The pre-flowers looked female so I thought it worked. I was wrong. One of them is male. I'm a dumbass. I should know better than to believe in that voodoo shit.
