Freedom of speech isn't the issue. Seems it's trendy lately to justify anything as socially acceptable just because it's legal. The problem isn't that they're breaking the law, the problem is that they're being offensive, insulting, and totally disrespectful.

Lol, that is ridiculous. Condemn it? Ridiculous bullshit. If those ridiculous Christians don't like it then they can ignore it. They can go ahead and bitch and moan about it, but by no means would it be right to push lawmakers to 'condemn' it (in otherwords, make a law against it, right?). Sounds like they want it like the medieval times, where you couldn't speak against Christianity. I just hope it doesn't happen. When any religion is attacked like this in our country,it is an attack on all folks of faith here and their right to exercise their religious beliefs without attacks or slurs and is contrary to the First Amendment.

My point with this article is to illustrate in combination with the other article about Marines being denied being on the street,that San Francisco values are such,that they will kow-tow to the gays and snub those who choose to protect and defend,our freedom. There are even city council members that go so far as to say that America should disband the military altogether.

It seems to me,that given all of these factors,that maybe San Francisco should secede from the Union and create their own city-state..they can rename it "Sodom".

If the country funds religious events, I see no reason why it can't fund secular events.

And Torog, I completely agree that those soldiers should have the right to film, as long as they're paying the same fees as any other production company would have to film in the same spot.
