when i said crane fly,i meant ormosia larvae(im not sure if we get them in the uk,but description and photo look the same)not tipulidae,know as leather jackets in the uk- i find them all the time in lawns and turf.what will these worms do? I thought i had 3 weeks left of flower but now could be 2,maybe just even flush for the next week as they`re looking ready any way.Roll on snow white.... thanks for the help.Peace,RM.

rastaman79 Reviewed by rastaman79 on 09-29-2007. can somebody sensible please help quick! hi every 1, so here goes...a few days ago I started gettin some rust/silver and black spots,only on 1 plant and now its startin to spread.On further investigation,i found a black cocoon about 1.7mm long.So today i do a res change,(to add boost `cos im 3 weeks away from harvest)And i found a few dead hairy grub things?! about 2mm long in the roots,so now im worried.carried on emptying my res,and noticed some bastard worm things in my res!,these thing are alive! and can stretch about 6mm some of Rating: 5

nah man,i dont think its a ph problem,my water is 6.8 straight out of the tap,I leave it to stand for at least 24hrs b4 adding nutes(canna range)then ph it to 5.5-5.6. 24 hours later it`ll be up somewhere between 6.0 and 6.4.then i`ll add 2-4 litres of ph`d water to bring it back to 5.5.This is`nt too much fluctuation is it? I think my problem is a mag def coupled with bugs...Of all descriptions!!!!!! im gonna crop early and beat them to it.Disinfect, hoover and bug bomb before i start again.Oh well, thanks guys,peace,RM.
