How many CFL watts needed for 7 Lowryder #2's?

    Hey,

I'm thinking about putting 7 lowryders into my 60cmx120cm grow room, how many cfl watts would be required for a nice yield, 20-35g's per plant? What would be good wattage per plant?

Sould I first buy "white" fluorescents for the veg stage and later on when flowering add more "red" lightning? Will the mix of both at the flo stage do the job?

Or alternatively, how many 52w or 23w cfl's would I be needing?

And few side questions, how big pots should I get for the plants?
..I heard that using wet towels near the pots would be ok way to raise humidity, is this true, or is there another easy way?

    Thanks:bigsmoke:

    A. Watts is watts is watts... Personally, I'd use no less than four 42 watt cfl's per plant. Within 1 inch of the plants if at all possible.
    B. If you decide to mix the spectrum, use one "white" for every three "blue".
C: You can prolly grow Lowrider in one gallon pots, but I'd use two gallons if it were me.
D: If you need to raise humidity, just about anything you add to the environment that has a really high moisture content will raise humidity, but not a whole lot. A humidifier or swamp cooler is the only sure fire way to raise humidity by an appreciable amount.

F.W.I.W...Sometimes, my humidity drops a little too much towards the end of the "lights on" cycle. If it warrants an adjustment, I mist water onto the back grill of a window fan in the room until it drips. Yeah, yeah, I know there's a motor in there, and avoid it accordingly.

I guess it will be much easier to get a 400w hps then... Any idea on the yield per plant, should it reach at least 25g per plant if grown properly?
