College growing?

I've been spending quite a bit of money on pot. And since, Im a college student, thats a bit of a problem. I wanted some ideas for growing indoors with limited space. I have basic experience growing outdoors. Im looking for something discrete. Most of all Im just looking for some input, other thread links, and possibly some advice from people who have been in this situation. I live in a dorm but have my own room.

try a rubbermaid tub grow and stick the thing in your closet. you could do it for under 50 bucks.

I know that project is probably easier than it looks, but I am not electrically inclined.... yet. Does this project require a soldering iron? Is that set-up basic or could I get away with having something even more basic? I realize Im gonna need some kind of ventilation and a light source.

Your dorm is college property, you have little to no reasonable expectation of privacy (that should all be spelled out in your residence hall paperwork), a roommate is an added variable, and the smell is hard to hide.
Not worth getting kicked out of school over. Be patient. In 4 years you can grow all the weed you want.

Yeah, you're probably right. Even though they would not search my room without probable cause, anything can happen. I guess Ill just have to keep paying 55 and 1/8. Rather that than be out thousands of dollars right? I'll just put this idea on the back burner until I get a place at least off campus.

Good idea. Your education is the most important thing right now, seriously- hard work now will pay off in a couple years with earlier possibility of owning a home and being the king of your own castle.

the trick is to grow all your weed in high school and save the money for weed and booze in college. but 55 an eighth? where do you live? and the box is worth it. you could keep it in your car if its big enough and get a battery for it.

All I have to say is ... ummmm no. For a number of reasons that shouldn't have to be stated.

IMO do a guerilla type grow in a discrete location or don't do one at all in your situation.

Education = money. Not worth blowing it all just for a little bit of weed. StinkyAttic is right. :thumbsup:

i pretty much agree w/ the people thus far, don't grow in your dorm. its just not worth it, you'll only be able to grow a small ammount which will most likely be gone before your next harvest comes online. But fear not for there are easy ways to solve your problem. do you have 7 friends that smoke too? buy an oz, w/ the price break you will most likely be able to get a free 8th for yourself, or quite cheap.

next year get some of your stoner buddies and all go in on a rental house...find one w/ a nice closet
