Gta4 will outsell Halo 3.

Umm this is a game that is gonna be released on two systems it would be absolutely pathetic if it didnt outsell halo 3. If it was launched on the PS3 alone it wouldnt sell a quarter of as many games as Halo 3. Most of the PS3 sells were in japan and about 5% of japanese gamers actually play games like GTA. Therefore the only reason it may even compete with Halo3 with sales is because of the 360 owners and yes i'll be contributing to the sales of this game. But this thread on realism yet you people or now raving over how good GTA is?! I assume this game is shrouded in realism!? WTF?!

Yeah, health packs in other games that immediately heal you are more realistic, or medics that come give you an injection that immediately put you on your feet are more realistic Halo's shield system is far more realistic than most FPS games..in terms of health besides the game is science damn fiction for crying out loud. Seriously you are a cybernetically enhanced futuristic soldier in a galactic battle against several alien species...Realistic, ROFLMAO!! if you are actually complaining about it not being "realistic" you're a fucking moron. lmao yea u have all that new futuristic stuff all that, bad ass shields,WEAPONS and come to find out u don't need any of that to kill some one all u need is a butt of a gun who would have thought in the future all u would need is ur elbow or the butt of a gun damn life and technology progressed all that way and it did'nt even need to. lmao and im not complaining about anything in the game but the fighting system. so no need to get ur gstring in a bunch.remember it's just a game unless u have stock in it or something

I can't speak of r6v, but GoW has nothing on Halo, except graphics, but even then GoW areas are MUCH MUCH smaller in scope/scale than Halo 3's vast battlefields and there is often times less action actually taking place than happens at any given skirmish in GoW in comparison to the on screen action going on in H3 and H3 suffers no slowdown. GoW is a decent game but it's got far far less. The storyline in GoW is practically non existent, meanwhile I personally wanted Halo 3 because I was dying to know how the story ends. If GoW II comes out I doubt anyone will be wanting it to find out what happens in the story line...

GoWs gameplay is fun but insanely simplistic and overly straight forward. Halo 3's single player campaign is longer than GoWs and more varied with various ways to approach every battle always several largely different tactics to use in any skirmish. Seriously GoW is so damn short when I beat it I felt kinda ripped off. Not worth $60 damn bucks for those few short hours. You put both on their hardest difficulty and Halo 3 is FAR FAR more challenging, I've beat H3 on Heroic mode and now on Legendary and Legendary is whooping my ass. GoW has it's moments but it's a cake walk in comparison and don't get me started on multiplayer which is H3's main selling point. H3 laughs at the futile attempt of Epics in this area for sure. Halo 3 is now THE mutliplayer game of choice on consoles right now and will remain so at least until Unreal III comes and even then H3 may or may not still be on top.

GoW is a good game I own it, I love it and I will look forward to seeing a sequel if they expand upon their first games idea. Though if they want to impress me they will need to have a longer single player campaign and actually give us a storyline to work with if they want me to plop down another $60. Though with the crap Epic has pulled with Silicon Knights and other small developers regarding their U3 engine I may be boycotting them in the future anyways.

Bottom line is unless you are so shallow in your gaming that the only thing that matters to you is superior graphics I can hardly see how anyone could actually with a straight face say GoW is better than H3. I think currently the only next gen gaming shooter than beats H3 (on single player aspect only) is Bioshock.

no this thread is not on realism it's on the fighting system of the halo3 game nothing more it may have went into that but not the point of the thread i know it's hard to wrap ur mind around the thought that if i say 1 thing bad or neg about ur perfect game then that means i hate the whole thing well guess what i don't hate the whole game and im not expecting u to use ur brain alil here to understand what im saying cause i have seen so far it's not gonna happen but it does show the lil control u have over ur self as u have to resort to name calling and get offended as if u made the game sorry to have caused u so much pain....
