What size to flower clones?

I'm growing a clone in a 7 foot head-space tent, I was just wondering what sort of size I want to start flowering my clones so that they max out about 5 foot?

Depends on the strain, or atleast Ind/Sat dom. But you'd probably aim for around 2', 2.5', assuming you are feeding it nicely and you have some good lights.

If I even though space was going to be an issue I would flower ASAP. I would probably just flower them immediately depending on their current state.

Which would be excellent for a SOG setup, and since he has clones, he has an almost perfect opportunity to do a SOG!

Exactly, I would go for a SOG (but I always have wanted to try one)
