    yeah it will work but that housing is gonna get HOT. You would be better off making yourself a cooltube and using the existing bulb and ballast from that light, if you know how.

    yea i was thinking of taking the light appart and making a reflector on my cealing... but its still expensive! there has to be a better way

    That light will work.Honestly though why would you use it when for $200 you could get a 600w HPS with a digital ballast and a reflector. Add about $50 to get a cool tube.
