Pest Problem: Help Identify
I have uploaded some pics of a pest problem I noticed. Not sure what it is? Please help id it. I remove manually but would like to know what can get rid of them.

That's a scale insect. I've never dealt with them personally but since they have a hard and very protective carapace, I'd be inclined to use a systemic insecticide against them.
That's a question for your hydro shop guy unless someone with more experience using systemics can come along and help- they can be dangerous, and should never be used on a flowering plant, or anything even remotely close to harvest. I've used Avid in the past but allow at LEAST a month for it to work out of my plants.

Theyre kind of hard to make out but they look like a pest i had once when growing outside, they had a dark kind of cross shape in the middle & they looked kind of like little shields?.. they came from a bay tree in the garden :-(
They were quite easy to spot & pick off..
Hope you manage to sort them out!
