pointy tip up man but to tell you the truth I dont think it really matters becuase when it sprouts out of the seed it goes directly to where the light source is coming from so if your light source is above the soil it goes up so either way but i heard your spose to plant pointy tip up...good luck

I have always done pointy tip down just because the taproot usually emerges near the point. Either way the taproot will come out and go down regardless of seed orientation. Germinated seeds can even be planted taproot up and they will recover.

I first let the seeds open up outside the dirt and then when the tip is out of the seed I put that pointing down .

i'm guessin it doesn't matter that much since some cann sites say to do it pointed up and others say down. i'll do 5 each way and see what happens. thanks for the info
