Yes, he should work but during the time that he's out there looking for a job he could receive unemployment insurance. It's like a benefit. The man is going through a hard time losing his job so he should earn it.
But yes, a lot of people tend to abuse the system like you said.

ok good point if he was layed off and is lookin for a job then i think it would be ok, because ive learned getting a job isnt the easiest task!

and god damn taxes, i just got my tiny check today and about 200$ went to taxes. im hardly gonna make rent. that extra money would be such a big help to me.

I've been working for this company doing random crap like filing and such for $12.50/hr which I consider very easy money for the amount of work I did. I've been there almost a year now and today they hired a new head of the department. Well this new fuck calls me to a meeting to fire me. The whole "oh we like you but we have no need for your services at this time" and the best part "we'll call you if we need you in the future". This new Rating: 5
