And the skill that I say he lacks is not opinion, it's fact. If he is seriously "the best rapper alive" like many people say, then why doesn't he put out some rhymes that are above rhymes that a 5th grade could write? Come on, seriously... he's horrible. And for the record, it's not hip hop. You saying that it is hip hop just shows your ignorance about what hip hop actually is.
Well in that case you're showing your ignorance because i assume you've graduated 5th grade and for some reason i doubt you've ever wrote rhymes like wayne and i'm actually a college student and can't flow like wayne... so i don't think you could call him average talent... and if you think that you're the only one that knows real hip hop you're not. you think because you listen to old school stuff and "underground" artists and wayne isn't your style that you can hate on his style and people that feel his music but just because you don't like it doesn't mean that the majority of people that like hip hop like wayne. peace and don't be hatin :hippy:

i don't have any problem understanding wayne's lyrics. They're origional and fresh, and he brings something to the game that nobody else has. His talent is undeniable and there isn't any other artist that is on his level.

People don't want to pay money to listen to a skinny, spoiled, stoned kid rapping in circles. At least I don't. He had it made back when he was like 16 and even then his voice made me shudder. "All deez carrots like I'm a fuckin vegitarian..." eee gaaads man.

Bottom line: he has some catchy hooks, yes, but hey who doesn't have at least one. The only way he'll be remembered beyond the year 2010 is by either his uniquely annoying voice or "that one kid with Cash Money way back when." Other than that, he's a dime-a-dozen rapper as far as I'm concerned. The only difference is he has the money to get his name out there, so on and so forth.

-that kid is the President Of Cash Money Records and CEO of Young Money Entertainment... not just something that's gonna fade away... he is now actually signing some of the hottest young rappers in the south right now to help cash money stay in the game-

Honestly mfgr...who are you to say who has skill in the rap business or not lol You on here postin shit like your Diddy or somethin and you tryin to make the Band. Until your a multi-million dollar producer I don't think you can determine who has skill. You can have an OPINION on who you like as far as rappers go, but you can't just say wayne is gonna die out cuz you know he's not. And the Biggie and Tupac thing you said is true, they are still big icons in the game despite their deaths. However, it's like Jay-Z said, "They never really miss you till you dead or you gone". And thats not taking anything away from Pac and Biggie they're still two of the greatest rappers of all time. But alot of their fame was gained because of their death. Give Wayne some credit
