If anyone wants to hear some real good old school rap, listen to Gang Starr. Great beats, and Guru would kill this Lil Wayne punk in a rap battle. No contest. Lil Wayne wouldn't even accept a challenge, because he knows he sucks at freestyle! I've seen his freestyles, they're horrible. Lil Wayne is a goofball, and he is not a good rapper by any means. The record industry will keep him famous until they decide to let him go (in otherwords, once they find someone who can make *them* more money - they don't care about skill, only the bottom-line. If they can make more money with someone else, even if that other person is less skilled, they'll do it), or he decides to go.

Lil Wayne will die out eventually, you watch. Someone "better" will come around, and get millions of dollars for his/her bullshit music. These rappers always boom for awhile, and then die out. 50 Cent and Ja Rule are good examples. They both suck, too. Lil Wayne won't be any different. The record industry chooses who is famous and "good." They only hire "rappers" that will make the most sales. In other words, the ones that will appeal the masses. For the most part, mainstream rap is all advertisement for cars and jewelry. And other things, too. Once a famous 'rapper' claims to like something in a song that becomes really popular, every follower seems to like it too.
