Here in South Texas, one of the common lacing tactics for weed is putting "lean" in it, a newbie smoker would pay top dollar for bud laced with lean. Lean, for those of you who don't know, is prescription strength cough syrup, comprised of Promethazine w/Codeine, and when taken in moderate amounts, you would become intoxicated and would be in a slowed-down world. People do not understand that inhalation of these fumes may be hazardous to the human lungs, as these chemicals are not meant to be consumed through your lungs, even though similar effects of said syrup will follow the smoke. The potential health risks are not worth lacing your own weed with this potent drug. So if you ever encounter bud like this, don't smoke it, even though it is rare to encounter outside of Texas, which is the home region of this practice. Cannabis laced with Promethazine w/Codeine is often as sticky as maple syrup, or literally rock-hard if it's completely dried, as in you need a really sharp knife to cut the fucker and it might not grind in a grinder. When smoking, it tastes like sugar, and an almost immediate head-rush, narcotic high ensues. Due to the traits of this, it may be hard to determine if you have cannabis laced with this shit, or if it's really THAT dank. Be careful if you smoke bud like that, atleast here in Texas.

lucky for me i have 2 good dealers that sort it for me

gotta agree with you The house,grow yer own,but in the uk we're bombarded with media scare stories about getting busted.i live in manchester and in the local news paper yesterday the cops were boasting about busting 92 home farms in the last 6 months or something.the interview then go's on to appeal to the public and landlords to report any unexplained electric uses or suspicious behaviour!.WANKERS EH!!!!!

The grit contamination has been a really big issue for the British (and EU) toking community for over a year now, It seems to be getting better around this area, slightly. Atleast people are recignising not to buy it now, which is a start.

Its only getting better `cos more people are growing,the government don`t give a fuck! if your lucky enough to get good weed for more than a couple of weeks in a row,chances are its coming from a mates,mates,uncles,nan or some shit,basicaly some one you know,I heard on the news the other day,that the U.K. is now growing so much weed,we`re now exporting! where the fuck is our piece then.bollocks to the pirates,GROW YOUR OWN! if you have a clean criminal record grow more! the prisons are too full to put every one away for a few plants.Sorry for the rant,but contaminated weed pisses me right off.Peace,RM.
