what can i do to stop this while still giving it the maximam amount of light

shade it? all i can think of unless it's potted. then maybe get close to water if possible and make sure it can get whatever airflow that is avalible. if you can. gl m8

while maximum growth prefers around 75 degrees F., remember the plant has flourished for centuries in 100+ degree jungles and arid desert environments ... she is a tough bitch ... :smokin:
