Can some moms help me out? Early signs of pregnancy?

Alright, so in the past few days my nipples have been extremely sore and sensitive and my boobs have been pretty swollen (but not sore), from what I can tell. Compared to my non-sensitive nipples, lol. I've also had weird "pains" (not really pains but kind of like twitches) in my lower stomach/uterus area. I'm not due for my period for about another 10 days. My boyfriend and I don't use condoms, (We've both been tested and are 100% clean) but usually "time" ourselves well (as in figuring out my ovulation schedule and avoiding my ovulating days, not exactly fool proof), but he was gone for a while and we we're quite reckless, I suppose; my own fault. I'm not extremely worried that I may be pregnant, I would just like to know if I should be more cautious with my lifestyle choices and eventually get a few pregnancy tests.. can any mothers help me out?

I'd really just like to know what your earliest symptoms were or if you have any idea what I'm experiencing (Whether it be pregnancy, PMS, or some other weird female issue )

I've googled this but I would like some first hand experiences, if possible

Also, I'm 19 and have recently changed my diet and have been working out much more, could that have anything to do with it?

It's almost too early for you to tell whether you'd be pregnant if you're only on day 18 or so of your cycle (assuming the 28th day 10 days from now is when you'll start your period) and you conceived only within the last six or seven days. You could get one of those early-response tests and take it, but you'd do just as well to wait and see if your period starts, then check after you've missed a period. (Assuming you do. Not everyone does.)

Sure, some of that could be from working out, like the muscle twitchy feeling, especially if you've been doing ab work.

My earliest signs of pregnancy were always sore boobs on top. Normally before my period, they're sore underneath, but when I was newly pregnant, they were sore on top instead, like the mammary glands were sending an early warning sign. I was also very very tired and sleepy, but that was after the first month or so. I never had much morning sickness. Just a mild feeling of queasiness, and that doesn't usually happen till the HCG hormone levels get a bit higher. I usually knew I was pregnant because we were trying to conceive, and days 11 and 12 of a 28-day cycle were always prime conception time. (Got pregnant six times, but five of those ended in miscarriages.)

Try to just chill and take a wait-and-see attitude. If you don't want an unplanned pregnancy one of these days, though, you might work on taking more active contraception steps. You know what they call people who rely on only the ovulation-timing method of birth control, don't you?

i don't have any advice or answer to your question, but i do have some advice...

it's never too early to start planning..... if you feel you might be pregnant, i'd really suggest starting to save money where you can now and save it... if you find you're not pregnant later on, well you have some extra money to spend, if you do find you are, well you got some money to start using towards your new baby...

babies are extremely expensive..... infact, raising a child is almost definately the most expensive thing you will ever do in your life, aside from goign super famous and living the 'rich life'....

IMHO (and tons of others) start saving NOW.... even if it's just pennies here and there, SAVE IT... becuase if you are, youw ill need it eventually...

also the day you find out you are offically pregnant, start making calls to sign up for WIC, Medicaid and any help that is local to your area you can.... hell, we wouldn't have been able to afford to feed our son formula if it wasn't for WIC alone..... that stuff is extremely expensive...

Do you not use any kind of birth control at all? You said you dont use condoms, but no pill or any kind of contraceptive? This just seems silly and dangerous to me. Yeah avoiding the ovulating days is a kinda of safe way, there is still a HUGE chance that you may get pregnant.

And considering that you are 19, and still young is getting pregnant really what you need in your life. I dunno I would rather be safe then sorry, unless you are trying to get pregnant. In that case good luck, if not I hope this makes you worry a lil bit more and might take a few steps to avoid it.

my girlfriend was sick _all the time_. morning sickness to the max. everyone is different.

get a pregnancy test and decide where to go from there, you're young. make sure you consider all the options you have available to you. Make sure you keep in mind clinics make sure your records are private and confidential and results are basically immediate.

if you are pregnant hun you will know, not by any symtoms but by just your mothers instinct (every female has it), i was the same with my husband we never used condoms then, i was feeling nausious, my boobs felt a litle sensitive, so i got a pregnancy test as i just knew, before doing tests i done it and looked at it straight away, funnily enough, the one that was positive i turned it upside down so i couldnt see it for ages, you will just know, i did.
im also 19, and had my son when i was 18.

i totally agree with this, start saving, they are so bloody expensive, you could buy him or her a babygro, bu next week hes probably grown out of it and needs a new one, u ned nappys, there 10 pound ago each week, milk 8 pounds a week, not forgetting baby wipes, cream for there bums, bottles and teats, sterilizer, u need clothes, shoes, grows, socks, and when they hit 4months, you nedd to start weaning them, more expense.
its defently worth the while saving up, they are bloody expensive creatures, im telling ya hun, and if any one diss you for being a young mum, then tell them to shve it up their arse, and get on with their own lifes, im 19 and have had all the dissaproving looks and comments, so i get a dirty nappy and shove it their face, naaa i dont, but would like to.
think carefully tho, when i had my son i got major post natel depression and nearlly left my son, i also had to leave my house and move with my mother in law as i couldnt afford the rent.
