Automatic or manual?

I'm not a car expert but I would have to disagree....If i was racing an identical 99 eclipse gsx automatic, I would start my car near 7k rpm's while the automatic would start off at zero.....I don't see how automatics would have a chance after the huge startoff advantage manual transmissions give you:thumbsup:
