ten years ago i broke my neck. i hit a fence i didnt see on a snowmobile, i get up, take my helmet off and go back to my buddys house. after a few minutes i decide it would be wise to go to the hospital just in case. i get to the hospital and they take some xrays and such. turns out they dont know whats wrong, but they're pretty certain something is wrong, so i get fedexed to pittsburgh in the back of an ambulance. i get to pittsburgh, and it turns out that i have in fact cracked the second disc in my neck in seven different places. ouch. so to make a long story short they put a halo on me for two and a half months. and it sucked, a lot.


but on the bright side, i am in the elite club of people that can say 'why yes i have walked into a hospital with a broken neck'

I think that having had a bad injury is always a good story to tell someone. I like to watch shows like wrecked on MTV for some reason. Its the kind of thing you want to turn off but cant.
