First grow, When to flower? Please help!!!

So my plant is 5 weeks since its first true leaves, and only 8inches as of now:wtf:. So i was wondering if i should flower now or wait, i can have a 3.5 foot plant with no problems.

I kind of want to flower now because: 1. this is bag seed, i have no idea what type it is, 2. i only have one plant going right now and i have room for 4, 3. i have northern lights ready to start from seed as soon as this is done.

on the other hand i want to wait because: 1. the plant has three main branches that would produce a lot of bud, 2. the plant is only 8inches, 3. if i start to flower now and its a female i will be pissed, on the other hand if i wait and its a male i will also be pissed, 4. i'm out of bud, 5. i dont know if the plant is mature enough to flower.

as i said this plant is short (see pic), 5 weeks since true leaves and 8 weeks since germination, so i dont know what i'm doing wrong to cause such slow growth, my stats are:

250w mh conversion bulb for veg
75-80degs
soiless mix with 1/3 perlite
ph at 6.7
water bout once a week, fert every other time using mirical grow
lime added to soil for ph and nuts

Any help would be great since i am very dissapointed at the rate of growth, the plant looks healthy as all hell and i have no idea what i'm doing wrong, thanks.

If its bag seed I'd just flower now and get your good shit growing.

even if it is bagseed its 2 months old now so it is mature enough to flower and keep in mind that it will grow when its in flowering to maybe twice its size now.So it will get bigger than 8 inches by the time its all done.and remember flowering takes a god 8-10 weeks maybe a bit more depending on the strain....good luck

Well he also aint right to...bagseed can grow to be some awesome bud you just have to put the time in with weeding out males and giving it nutes and the right conditions to grow and you could get some bomb shit from bagseed.So dont assume just cuase its bagseed its shit becuase that is not the case trust me ive grown bagseed and its good shit...not the best but its not your average brick weed shit either or your low grade midies.
