so after catching me, my parents convinced themselves that after what they had told me, I would stay clean. so off they went, and told all of their friends that i just quit smoking weed, many of these people i dont even know, and all didnt know i smoked weed to begin with. so now, every day, i am getting a package or 2 in the mail from random friends of my parents. each package has one of those books that talks about how to quit drugs, how to say no, how drugs are bad and ruin your life. also they all come with a note on the inside cover that says something like "good luck starting over with a clean slate, i am glad that you quit smoking, and are now a good kid" . i dont know how you all feel about this, but getting these books just pisses me off so much. i feel like screaming, and my parents just keep gossiping with their friends. and heres the funny part to this story, sometimes when im stoned i read these books and just laugh at how one sided and full of BS they are. you al probably dont care, but i had to vent somewhere. peace.

but i told them i was never going to stop,

I feel ya man... I love my mom, but she is a gossiping bitch that needs her mouth wired shut. I live in a small town and my mom owns a restaurant, and that place is gossip central. And since my mom doesn't know how to keep her mouth shut, everybody, people i don't even fucking know know that i smoke pot.

now, i am not at all ashamed of my love for cannabis, and i speak of it openly, displaying to all. But it really pisses me off that my mom tells everyone. i mean, even her stupid ass wholesale people that she doesn't know have been told this shit.

I would make it very clear to my parents that they are not to make decisions for me, that I am ultimately the one who is in charge of my life, and that I would continue to smoke no matter what they said or did. And then I would sell all the propaganda they gave you on Amazon for some other unfortunate kid to receive, buy a big fat sack and fog up the whole house sometime when they aren't there.

Your post made me pretty mad. I'm sorry to hear about your situation. I would buy your parents some pro-marijuana books and have them read stuff that is not filled with government bullshit. What is your situation though? Are you doing okay in school? Getting into any trouble at all? If everything is okay in your life then ask them why they are so against something they know so little about. Drill them with questions, but don't lose your cool. Make them answer well thought out questions about cannabis use and then counter with the truth and facts, but be sure to have solid ways of proving them wrong. If things are not going too well in your life currently, it's easy for parents to blame marijuana. Try to start doing other hobbies and make yourself look outstanding to them and everyone else, while secretly still smoking up. When everyone is so proud of you and your accomplishments, they will think that it's beacuse you quit smoking bud. Then break the news to them. I did all this and smoke Marijuana you bitches!!!!
