CLEAR EYES KILLS HIGH

okay i've been hearing this too many times from some ppl.....they keep telling me that clear eyes kills your high....so everytime we're on our way home we drop some in our eyes so it can "kill the high"

i personally do not believe this is true...but of course i can be wrong.....any help would be great..:thumbsup:

Let me guess, they told you that since there is Tetrahydrozoline in eye drops that it must be a buzz kill. Wrong, just because a word has Tetra- doesn't mean it's related to THC.

I do find that sometimes if i put visine in my eyes it kind of calms my high down

You do have multiple cannabinoid receptors, in your eyes. I wouldn't be surprised if any were suppressed due to another chemical. If your blood has 28 nanograms of THC in it, and, you add a drop of Elmer's glue, then the percentage of THC in your blood, goes down.

Dude if your eyes are dragon red then yes putting in visine will calm you down. Because A) people aren't going to wonder whats with your eyes and B) You just appear fresher.

Note: A and B seem to be both the same thing.

I think its all in your mind... if you tell yourself that putting CLEAR EYES into your eyes will lessen or kill your high, and if you honestly believe that in your mind, then that is what will happen... but if in your mind you were to honestly believe that putting it into your eyes would open p your eyes (litterally) to new and wonderful things and increase your high, then that is what would happen too.

Another theory is that most people that believe it kills their high because they are putting it in when they are 1) not going to smoke anymore weed and therefore not maintain their high anymore anyway and 2) putting it in because they have to go somewhere where red eyes might not be aceptable and act straight, so its not the clear eyes doing it, its you stopping smoking weed and your environment changing.

I could go with either theory.

Ok heres all you have to do get 20 people in a room. let them all smoke the same ammount and type of weed, wait 30-40 min then give 10 of them real clear eyes and 10 of them water but in a clear eyes bottle. then document who says what :jointsmile:

my opinion is clear eyes will kill your high to an extent. When you smoke it relaxes your eyes and pumps more blood through them. The reason why it pumps more blood through them is because smoking raises your blood pressure. with increased blood pressure they turn red because of the engorgement of the blood vessels, using clear eyes gets rid of the engorgement thus taking away a part of the high. case solved.
