    Possible Light Leak??

This is bagseed, vegged for 5 weeks, 3 1/2 weeks into 12/12. No doubt it is Sativa. I was curious if she looks healthy. I may have a light leak issue, and want to make sure its all good.

    Possible Light Leak??

Is there a particular reason you are wondering about a light leak issue?

As I understand it, there are a few of possibilities for what happens to a plant when there is a light leak:

    1) The leak is not bad enough to be detrimental. As long as the light level in the room is around or less than a "typical" moonlit night, then you should be ok.
    2) Enough light gets into the room to cause an interruption in the plant's flowering hormone process. I think I remember reading that just 2 minutes of exposure to fairly bright light in the course of the dark period will interrupt the hormonal process and cause the plant to not flower.
    3) Hermaphrodites? I guess this would be somewhere in between. Or possibly the light leak is introduced at some point after the plant has started flowering? Not really sure about this one though...

Anyway, it seems that your plant is flowering, so it doesn't look like it is an issue to me.

Then again, I'm not an expert

    Possible Light Leak??

The reason I was asking, is because she started flowering somewhere else and then spent the past 2 weeks there, and I haven't noticed much bud growth. I went ahead and duct taped all of my cracks and we'll see what happens after a couple of days like this. Thanks for your input.

    Possible Light Leak??

the time I had light-cycle problems (my timer unknowingly went bad) , the plant grew OK, but 'weirded-out' :wtf: ... upper branches grew 4, then 3, then two, then one-bladed leafsets ... weird ...

Hmmm... Shes just going into dark cycle, but tomorrow I'll take note as to what the leafsets look like. Thanks for the heads up.

So by weirded-out, was it just the leafsets affected, or your yield/potency?

The leafsets around the buds are down to single blades, buds also look to be filling out a little. Still keeping my fingers crossed.
