leaving my plants while out of town?
have a small ebb & flow system with 6 feminized sweet tooth plants growing in a closet set up. I am going to cannibis cup in November and have to leave my plants. I am planning on putting them to 12/12 on the day I leave as the timing should be about right. Since nobody knows I have a grow going on, I have nobody to watch the plants while Im gone for 9 days. ANy suggestions on how to safe guard that I wont have dead plants when I get back?
I already plan to change water day I leave and was considering rigging a second pump just in case one goes out. Any other suggestions would be appreicated.

if your not tellin anyone i would get a water butt, say at least 100 litres and get some lengths of pipe and a float valve.
hook up the float valve inside your normal res so once your water level starts dropping it will be topped up from the water butt.
you might be thinking that the res is gonna start to be topped up every time you flood your system and it will but float valves generally let water in very very slowly so you should be able to do a flood cycle and drain without letting in to much water.

yep, triple check the timers, I'm going out of town on tues, and of course my timers have started acting up. Last time I went out for a few days, my one questionable plant went male and zoomed up to the top of the lights and burnt itself, that'll teach em....
maybe a webcam to double check things?
