I'm 20 (21 oct 22nd) and most of my friends have already moved out of their parents house. Granted, most of them also have their parents paying for their car, which mine aren't. But I did make a silly move by buying a $12,400 car when I was 19. Right after I graduated high school, I got a warehouse job with two other friends to make money before I started college. I saved up a little over $8,000 and put a $4,000 down payment on my VW GTI Rating: 5

Out at 18, moved back in when I transferred back to a university in my hometown, out after graduation, moved to Alaska for a year, back in again when I wanted to save $ for a house, put my offer on a place at 25, and never looked back. Man, mortgages suck though.

I moved out just after i turned 18. It took about a year before i was financially stable to support myself... haven't looked back since

Went to work every day, had a family, bought a house. yada yada yada.

Our stories are so very weirdly similar. I moved to alaska to work for a stay when I was 18, eventually came back to Massachusetts and lived at home. Met my partner, and ended up buying a house at 20.

So on another note, we bought ourselves a WRX and are planning a couple motoring trips on up to Vermont and such, and I'd love to hang out, anywhere in VT near the boarder that you would recommend a day trip? Sorry if some of this doesn't make sense, it's my day off work and i'm using the time to get really baked.

I'm soon to be 21 and still currently living at home with my parents. I'm a University student with no money what so ever, and no job at the moment too. It doesn't bother me living at home since I'm still in Education. I know a lot of people around my age and older that still live at home.
