Driving

Having gotten a DWI. I know I'm an idiot. I fear making the wrong decision to drive when I'm fucked up. I'd much prefer to have someone drive me or a computer. I used to love driving but now I scare myself. Plus insurance is waaay too expensive for me now.

That being said, if I computer was driving me around I'd be scared if the AI was female .

We went tooling about the S. Hadley/Granby/Amherst area yesterday, and oh man those twisty country roads are so much fucking fun. We found a place called Atkins Farm and got ourselves a pumpkin for the front steps, I have a feeling you've been there,

I haven't just BEEN there, I've been sent on emergency pumpkin-pie acquistion missions there.
And any event for which a punkin'pie is an emergency is sure to fall on a day when every fucking yuppie in Amherst [read: the ENTIRE population of the town] is ALSO there for a pie.
Well, and to show off their new Saab.

I take my Ninja on those roads. I'm the one with the yellow-and-black leathers and big ass and one peg touching the pavement. You want nice roads, head up 116 into Conway and Ashfield. The Twisties, we call them. Or in Shutesbury, The Shutes- thems some hairy roads.

i've never understood folks who prefer to just sit back and watch the scenery. maybe i'm a bit of a control freak, but if i'm in a vehicle then i want to be in control of it. i ain't no ricky racer, but i need to be the one who decides how fast to go, which lane to drive in, when to pass, when to stop etc.

Tomorrow is a day off so we're thinking of trying out one of the routes you suggested, any nice side-trip type places along the way we should look into?

I would like a driver for those times I am not able to because I'm either too drunk or whatever.
BUT !
I love my bike and ride simply for the pleasure whenever I get the chance, anyone who has a bike will understand the feeling of freedom and speed you can only get from motorbikes,I would only get a car if I had kids but I would still keep my bike.
