I'm of two minds about the JWs. One elderly man, I respected. He left me his tracts and I gave him fresh herbs (oregano, basil, etc). (And, yes I read them.) He was Italian and his wife was a good cook, but lacked fresh herbs. We respected each other, but disagreed on religion. (I'm Wiccan.) He kept hoping he'd convert me, and I kept hoping I'd convert him!

Another fellow- I totally freaked him out. He was PROUD that the ONLY book he read was the Bible. He was a total A-hole and I treated him as such. I wondered if he washed his Bible after I touched it? Yeah, he was THAT bigoted!

As for me, well,- "There are many paths up the mountain, but the view from the top is the same." I'm just not sure that particular dude was going "up the mountain".- Granny:hippy:

She was asking if I believed in god, I didn't really know how to tell her that I've been to church a bunch of times and that I'm just not really interested in it. So I just replied no, nothing rude. And so she says to me "I just had a slurpee if you're wondering why my face is so red" then went on to give me a small pamphlet. I had no idea what she meant by this. Was she being rude or am I stoned? Rating: 5
