It is a beautiful belief that concentrated on mind over matter...."I think therefore I am" type things. Its to complex or I would get into it but its something you need to come to your very own understanding with. IT IS NOT "WITCHCRAFT".

then they werent wiccan. Know facts before you judge. Being wiccan ...a good wiccan...would have saved their lives...not destroyed them. Its not witchcraft...theres your first mistake. Its all about energies, grounding, doing good, loving this earth and our Lady. Always remembering the three fold law and the power of free will. If your friends were screwing with someones free will, they will pay for it three times stronger. Karma baby...Karma.

7 posts in a row? Damn, Saveme. Anyway, it's really annoying when people of any religion go around pointing saying "He's not wiccan because a wiccan wouldn't do that. I however do everything BY THE BOOK and therefore am a TRUE wiccan" Im not wiccan. Im too religiously confused to make up my mind right now. But that's one of the things that pisses me off about almost all religions, the fact that if you go outside the lines a bit, you are no longer considered "a true member of that religion". Take all the christians who have sex before marriage. Does this truly mean they're not christian? No, it means they have slightly varying belifs then the typical christian. If you really were wiccan, I believe you would realize that people can have slightly varying beliefs and still be wiccan. -points- You are just one of those wiccan wannabes. Only you're the worse then most because you're elitist about it. As little as I know about wiccan, I do know it is an open-minded religion, and elitism involves being very much closed-minded.
Just my two dollars,
- Encatuse
PS.. You said doing what you feel is right makes you a true wiccan, why then are those who decide to make variations to the typical wiccan philosophy.. such as getting stoned for rituals.. make them a trendy non-wiccan? Shouldn't that make them MORE wiccan... they are doing what they feel is right and it surely isn't hurting anyone.lolol

Ah, I apologize. I didn't mean to come off as a dick, which, upon re-reading my post, I realize I did. It's just you contradicted yourself. You called TheSanityAssassin a "True Wiccan" merely because he does what he feels is right as long as it's not harmful. Well... what if he's going out at midnight practicing his rituals whilst stoned just as NancyRenee, the not real wiccan girl is? Just wondering. Enlighten me, maybe I've got the wrong idea here. ^.^

naw encatuse i was thinking that too when i read those posts. you just said it how it is yo.
the term is "eclecetic" i think. the great thing about wicca is that there really isnt one concrete way of doing it by the book because there is no book!
