Got a neighbor with ADHD. He used to do all the weird stuff sufferers do.Walking up and down stairs multiple times,wash his hands multiple times,could never sit still.He used to take prescriptions and they never helped his symptoms.About 5 years ago he started smoking and you can't tell he has ADHD anymore.

I read part of the newspaper from my hometown online, most days. Today there was a story about how there was a mix-up at some rural school kindergarten the kids were all given Ritalin pills accidentally instead of fluoride tablets they were supposed to get. An aide had them all spit them out, crisis averted. But that raises a lot of questions. Like why the hell are they giving any pills to little kids. What the hell are schools doing having all those Ritalin pills, in the first place. This seems a real strange thing to happen to me and especially at a NY (supposed to be good) school. Sorry, this is kind of a hijack, same subject though, this just has been bothering me. I couldn't believe it. Jesus changed his avatar.

My friend has ADHD...I started inviting him over and getting him high. Once we just sat and spaced out to this 9min trippy song and he said "wow...my minds completely clear". Thing is...he's like a hoover..he'll eat anything in the cupboards...sober or high....thats why we beat him (j/k)

Plus as a teacher's aide, I work with middle school kids. We had this one hyper kid (failing badly) who occasionally came to school reeking of pot with red eyes. He did his best work on those days. The teacher and I chose to ignore it. He passed 7th grade- barely. He moved away- Good luck, my boy, wherever you are! And hell yes, we KNEW! We aren't THAT dumb! lol

ADD Inattentive Type
The onset of these symptoms often become apparent later in child-hood or early adolescence. The brighter the individual, the later symptoms seem to become a problem. The symptoms must be present for at least six months and not be related to a depressive episode or the onset of marijuana usage. Using marijuana can often make a person seem as though they have ADD without hyperactivity. It is important to screen for pot usage in teen-agers or adults.

I took this online test because I might have A.D.D and I wanted to make sure before I go to the doctor and waste money. But yeah I most probably have major ADD lol. Fuck

i have add or i was diagnosed with it back when a lot of kids first started getting diagnosed. hell if smoking was the treatment i never would have gone off the meds, the other stuff was honestly like a low dose cocaine that lasted all day it sucked

This topic is of alot of importance to me since I'm ADD and I smoke everyday. I think it's important to know that to smoke for a positive effect with a person with ADD the right kind of weed has to be used. If the person is ADHD or hyperactive then an Indica strain of weed should be used. If the person is ADD and the opposite of hyperactive (this is what I am), the person should use a Satvia strain of marijuana for the most benificial effects. There has also been recent research that shows a person can be ADD with both hyperactivity and non-hyperactivity (both symptoms), for these people I would suggest a hybrid, or an indica, or satvia depending on their attention mood at the moment.

When will doctors be doing more research on this? Because I feel like there should be ALOT more information on this.
