CO2 Cartridge for Cabinets
Has anyone seen a CO2 setup using the co2 cartridges? It seems like one of those would go a ways in a small cab? any thoughts or product links to checkout?
Something like a whippet cracker, but with a pressure regulator on it......

Do to the fact you must regulat the flow of the co2 cart. and you must have a cab. that is leak free. The cost to use cart. will be real expensive. A normal tank is about 150 bucks and 20 bucks for a refill. then you need a solonide , and flow contol , and a plastic tubing to put the output over all the plants. Also you need a good temp controler. It takes extra temp to maximize the co2.
I think you would be cost saving just to use lots of fresh air , as it has 300 ppm normal outside ppm. In a house ppm can go up to 500. Keeping the flow going 24/7. Making beer or wine are another way to get free higher ppm co2.
Done right co2 works like a charm, and well worth the money

right, I understand that the big systems are exp. and such, but are there any cheaper, or homemade setups that people know about. I was figuring that since its such a small cab. that a c02 cartridge setup would work instead of the whole tank approach, does anyone have a small co2 setup or am I just dreaming?!?

One of those little cartridges wouldn't last a day, you need an actual tank and a regulator. I have a small set-up with a 20lb tank, I still need to get it refilled every 7-10 days.
They make a product called CO2 Boost and it is a bucket of organic material connected to a fish tank pump. The material in the bucket gives off CO2 gas and the pump brings it out of the sealed bucket and delivers it to your plant. This is the cheapest most simple way to get CO2 enrichment.
