Eating does reduce the high. Also nicotene in cigs. I find that if I dont eat I m usually high as shit but if I have eaten I would assume the food absorbs a lot of the smoke that would normally be absorbed by the body. Nicotene on the other hand is a little different, it gives a quick boost but doenst last and also reduces my high so I try to wait a few before smoking a cig. Also if I feel myself higher than I want to be I will fire up a cig and everything is cool. I imagine its different for everybody as it really depends on your body.
