your soil is hot beginning to lockout nutrients, seedlings need no help from you for the first 4-5 weeks ...just water
whats the soil brand name, not that it matter ALL that much because most soils today have ferts pre added
you have MORE than enough nutes in the bagged soil you use, then you added more nitrogen from worm castings, additionally youve been giving them SUPERthrive
Id transplant to fresh soil & leave them alone , your killing them with kindness

They're in black gold seedling mix. Equal parts of that, perlite and worm castings. I was told that seedling mix didn't have any nutes.
I have fox farm ocean ready to go ... should I transplant to that? btw the soil they're in right now is sooo loose that if I transplant I'll really be taking the plant with no soil...will that harm it?
Thanks!

that was a very strong dose of SuperThrive ... I have had SuperThrive kill seedlings at a lot weaker dose than that ... SuperThrive works well to develop roots, helpful in cloning, other than that, I hate that crap ... :smokin:

well i probably just killed both of them. lol.
I just put them in different soil, this time 2 parts fox farm ocean and 1 part perlite. When i went to take the sicko out, I found that her leaves not only were turning almost brownish but now are getting crispy..........just in the few hours from this morning to now. I expect to find her dead in the morning.
On a side note her roots were showing on the bottom of the soil when I took her out and they were kind of fuzzy, whereas the healthy one was not.
Anyway we'll see what this does. No more than water for them from now on!!! (if they survive the transplant).
When I transplanted I put the plant with the excess old soil into the new soil. That's how to do it right? I wasn't supposed to clean all of the old soil off of her right???? UGH I have such a black thumb it's pathetic!

ocean forest is even hotter than what you were using.
Shoot. I just answered on the other thread too.
Yes, you put ALL the old soil and root ball into the new soil and pot.
That superthrive has a ton of N in it BTW and is too strong for seedlings.

Deadhead I PETRIFIED some brand new seedlings with a massive dose of ST in my hydro setup....they simply 100% hardened in place.......totally weird and took about 4 hours total to snuff them.
