Anyone have a response to this guy's anti-sensimilla theory?
It reads like a cohesive argument but I don't have the experience with seeded vs sensimilla bud to contribute. What if we're all just taking someone else's word for it that sensimilla is better? I very rarely have smoked seeded bud so I can't say. Check it out

Respond!
Sorry my University degree only allows me to understand half of it. Can someone please give me the short simple (stoner) version.
I have always enjoyed good outdoor over good indoor, but is the dude really trying to sell me on the fact that the tight indoor placebo MK-Ultra I just consumed is not relaxing me, taking away the pain in my plastic knee and arthritic hip.

Well I think this belongs in conspiracy, not the growing forums.
And I think that statement pretty much sums up my opinion of that "article." I think pretty much everyone here has probably smoked both seedy and sinsemilla weed and can attest to the relative differences.
Come to think if it, that link doesn't even use the word sinsemilla. Just another example of his ignorance

If the weed he is smoking gives him the placebo effect, then he harvested too early, or he is cloning hemp weed engineered to have low thc.
What a load of crap. Maybe he needs to try some of my cloned AK-47.

Anyone have a response to this guy's anti-sensimilla theory?
there are elements of truth to said article. It is true thyat UV-b is used/needed for more thc production, but potency is inherited not a function of geography. I can take some old landraces from say Columbia, ship the seeds to the artic circle and put them on 12/12 and have stony weed.
Photoperiod does not affect potency, UV-b seems to promote more thc production.

Anyone have a response to this guy's anti-sensimilla theory?
man, ok "i'm higher than a kite" (like my old man used to say) so bare with me.
what is this about uv-b? i know i have read something on it before, and i guess i will hit the ol cannacom search bar in a sec. but does anyone here actually have experience with this? I hate to add heat to anything.
And whoever wrote that doesn't know what they are talking about, because i have seeded, and not seeded clones of the same plant, smoked both product, each harvested for potency, and definately enjoyed the sensimilla, more. Everyone knows that... why do you think all serious growers, with experience, smoke it?

UV-B hands down increases the potency of bud. UV-B stimulates the transformation of cannabinoid precursors in the trichomes into THCA. That's not this guys pet theory, I've read several instances of research into it all with the exact same result. The downside is that UV-B lights are dangerous to look at and even more dangerous to expose your skin to.

Sounds like the only weed that guy has ever grown is worse than commercial mexibrick. Sad, because almost any weed is better than mexibrick.
