    Best wavelengths for vegetative growth

What are the different wavelengths do I need for the best vegetative growth cycle? Right now I have 3 6000k 27 watt CFL at 1700 lumens ea. and 4 6500k 26 watt CFL at 1600 lumens ea.

Should I add some around the 2500-2700k spectrum to supplement or is the 6000-6500k range all that is needed?

I am only growing one plant of some bagseed and plan to set up a customized closet grow to get this puppy big. I will prolly end up lining the walls of a 4x4x8 closet with mylar and then with some t5 fluorescents at 2200-2500k or some t8 fluorescents around the same with 4 6000k 27 watt CFL's and 6 6500k 26 watt CFL's. I am going hydroponic and my sprout seems to be doing good. I am in week 2 and I have several 1/2ft roots coming out the bottom of the net pot and a lot more coming out every day and the sprout is getting huge really quickly.

I plan to flower with a 250w or 400w HPS/MH with a switchable ballast depending on how big the plant gets and then for the next grow use MH as the main vegetative light. What do you guys think?

6500k is good for vegatative stage.
and 2700k is good for flower stage. I would plant more than one seed though as you have a 50% chance of it being a male which would defeat the purpose. Plant at least 2 so you have a good chance of getting a viable female to enjoy:jointsmile:
