Here are the Frostbites from Chimera. ihope you can see what a difference vertical side lighting does. these pants have never been topped, the only trimming done was in the inside of the bushes because they were as dense in the middle as they are on the outside and no air could have possibly getting in there plus all those little sukers in there that wouldnt amount to anything. I trimmed away almost a 50 gallon trash bag worth of leaves and small spindly shoots from the insides. These are very slow growing plants, but probably the most stout bushiest plant i have ever grown. They are like bonsai bushes with nearly 3 inch trunks and are nearly 5 foot wide and about 4 feet tall. The last cutting I grew from this mom was 1/3 the size of these and my c02 sensor was out of wack and poisoning the room with co2 and I got 10.5 dry oz from that one. We will see what these do. Sorry about the pics with the bright lights, couldnt help it. Peace

Sorry about the really dark pic, you can still see how full the room is and for anyone that hasnt read the entire thread this room is 11x11 feet inside with four plants in 20 gallon recirculating bubblers with remote res, 5600 WATTS! 4 1K sodiums in the corners and a 1K MH and a 600 HPS in the middle, 1500ppm C02, 90 degrees because my plant like it! the room is sealed tight, no air exchanges ever, air conditioned and dehumidified runing latewoods recipe but not as strong. When I do my weekly 80 gallon res change, its 80 with the res beacuse the bubblers arent all the way full and the root masses are HUGE I end up with a 1100 ppm mix as follows:
80 Gallons tap water, My water comes out of the tap at 20-30ppm dont be jealous!
    GH Micro 500ml
    GH Bloom 1000ml
    GH Grow 200 ml
    Hygrozyme 500ml
    SM-90 240ml
    calmag + 300ml
They seem to really love this mix, Peace

Oh yeah The PH starts out with a freash mix at 5.5 and by the next day its about 6.0 and I adjust it down to 5.6 once and from there it goes up to 5.9 to 6.1. I try not to add much ph up or down and as long as its not over 6.0 I leave it, if for some reason it goes down I wont do anything unles it hits 5.5 and then I will bring it up to 5.8 and leave it. I forgot to mention each bucket has 3 SWEETWATER air stones in them and 1Alta AL80 air pump does the job of delivering 20 litres of air per minute to each bucket. The res also has a chiller plumbed to it and a 18 watt uv sterilizer, the nute temps are kept at a steady 68 F, Peace

I am sure you could do pretty well but the recirculating system gives you total control over PH, PPM, Nute Temp, ETC. plus Nute changes are easy with my setup. My feed lines are 1/2 inch and they come in the bucket at the top on the side and then go down inside to the bottom. Since my buckets are are a raised floor and my res is not when I turn my pupm off all the buckets back siphon to the res while I am pumping it outside so I get 100% nute changes. Another factor is that big plants drink ALOT! These four go through at least 20 gallons a day right now. So if you had one of these by herself in a 5 gallon or even a 20 gallon bucket you would be putting water in every 2 or 3 hour while light are on PITA!!
But seriously, You can build a recirculating system so easy, Even if your only pumping one gallon an hour into the bucket with a tiny tube and even if your res is just another bucket. Just put yout drain about an inch or so below the bottom of the net pot, could be 1/2 inch hose and a little air stone hose to feed it from the top down into the bottom, so easy:

    2 buckets
    An aquarium powerhead for pump
two rubber grommet from grow shop
    Air hose
    Air pump
    Air stone
    Two hose barbs
    Net pot
    Nutes

    Now you are recirculating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
