you did very well, too ... anytime a newbie can keep a plant alive, let alone grow a bud, that's good growing ... hell, I still have troubles with the first couple weeks, every time ...

I'd lay off that pruning, it can cause more problems, than it will help ... if they're blocking light, just bend them outta the way ... as you get closer to harvest, they will yellow, die, and fall off ... that's perfectly normal ... :smokin:
