Another sandwich I love, but can't find here in Portland Oregon, is a real Chicago style Italian Beef sandwich.

Almost any kind of Italian sandwich involving real salami, provolone and Italian bread
    Reuben
Tuna salad on wheat with red onion and dill pickle (I have half of one of these every school day for lunch with some soup)
    Leftover meat loaf w/ mayo
    BLT

I have traveled far and wide, but I have never once eaten a real Philly cheese steak sand and would like to. I'm betting it would replace one of the faves above with no trouble. Down here, there's no such thing. The meat they sell universally in Texas sandwiches is barbecue.

Hot pastrami on rye with extra spicy mustard and a little horseradish, with provolone cheese and tomatoes.

    Or leftover Thanksgiving sandwich:
Dinner roll, turkey, stuffing, gravy, and cranberry sauce, with a little celery salt. Mmmmmmmmm this year I'm gonna make the turkey a couple days early and just serve Thanksgiving sandwiches I think... haha... WAY more portable for the football game.

You DO know that pastrami is the most sensual of the salted, cured meats...
