Caught by police

Last night me and my mate went to a friends house to smoke spliffs and watch his new David Gilmore live dvd. So after that we make our way home and stop for a few spliffs on the way back. After we smoke a couple we head back to our homes. We're about a minute away from home and a cop car slowly drives past and opens the window and says "Can you just take your hood down for me" so i do and carry on walking. They continue driving really slowly down the road, like they were watching us. We turn the corner towards home, they reverse and come down the corner towards us.

They get out and chat to us because somethings happened, they wont tell me what but from what the radios were saying it was some sort of assult. They start asking me and mate questions about where we been that night we said "at a friends watchin a dvd, just walked back". Then they ask "have been smoking anything?" "No" "Then why do you smell of cannabis?" "I smoked a few at my mates" "Got any on you now?" "Nope".

At this point my mate who was being questioned by the other cop said "Lets not do this in front of my house, go down the road a bit." So they agree to that and said just get in the car and we'll go to the corner. I thought fuck that so i walked with the other cop whilst my mate got in the car. I just thought they might try to pull a fast one. Anyway, that was all fine, we got to the next road and they contine chatting saying that they're going to search us because we both said we'd smoked (probably not the best thing we could have said but as we reeked of it and were rather stoned it was obvios). I just admitted to having a spliffs worth and took it out of my pouch and handed it over because thats the first place they were going to search, and they would have found it. Also my grinder was in my pouch, he was going to put it in along with the confiscated weed but i said "Nah, not my grinder. Ive had that for ages." And he gave it back to me.

The other cop says "how does this work then" talking about the grinder and i said "like you dont know" and he says "yeah, but lets not get into that".

Anyway, me and my mate both got our shit confiscated i had about .5 and he had about 2.5. And we got a warning which is our second one. So next time we'll be arrested.

It annoyed me that we got caught when they werent even looking for us. Surely looking for the person that did the assult is more important than confiscating weed of a couple of harmless stoners, bastards.

EDIT: when i got home i opened my grinder and smoked a bowl of kief which was in there. So at least i didnt lose that.

Look on the bright side...here in the states (the one I live in) if you get caught you go to the slammer no matter what. Although you can get out on a low bail (about $500 - $1000) and get a 2 year suspended sentence, it's pretty much on your record.

I almost envy you guys, I wish they gave us three warnings here but they're so hateful about it they'd rather see you rot in a cell.

My mate got a 1/4 chucked into a bush by a completely out of order piggy but about 3/4 of the 1/4 landed on a big leaf [he showed me what kinda bush it was, massive leaves that almost cup haha] so as soon as the cop left [the cop made em walk on] they went back and got it. Haha. That's a good idea though, so drop the ground up shit. I remember rolling outside once and i dropped the joint before i could roll it into long wet grass I nearly cried - i was lookign for it all for over 10 mins, got about 3 little tiny ground up bits that were wet.


Also, are they giving warnings these days? Or is that to under 18's?

I've never had a warning, they've either confiscated it and wished me a good day or they've said "not in public mate" and left it.

Anyway, be thankful England isnt as stupidly outrageously harsh as America.

it all depends on the cop you get
ive been caught underage with alcohol at my house and weed before too and both times i've just gotten a warning.
but the law says im supposed to get a fine and something on my record
