Hon, I always purchase seeds during high mail times (Mother's day, Xmas, etc) to lessen the chances of my particular package being inspected. Seeds normally sit dormant during the winter months, so the timing of your buy, as long as the seeds are kept cool, isn't that important. Just stash the seeds in the veggie crisper until spring.
